Plot: Sunil Kumar (Dev Anand) hails from Jhansi and stays with his brother, sister-in-law, and their son. He is a cricketer by profession and his sister-in-law and her son have a deep affection towards him. It is because of Sunil, that their family is a happy family. Sunil, in order to rise in cricket and play a match, shifts to Mumbai. Here, he hires a house for rent. Initially, the landlord’s daughter, Geeta (Mala Singh) hates him, but eventually, when she witnesses him playing cricket, she falls in love with Sunil.
